I had to amend this post because my talented filmmaker friend Luci Westphal, creator of the In A Berlin Minute web series has just released (Sept. 27, 2012) a new episode featuring Zionskirche, the subject of this post, along with several other beautiful important churches from the peaceful revolution:

And now for the photo gallery originally posted… The colors of the Berlin Zionkirchplatz were gorgeous on this springtime day. For a relaxing afternoon, stroll around this northern Mitte neighborhood, visit the old church and enjoy a great Flammkuchen at the “Chapel” cafe across the street.
